Six finalists to be revealed in first Eesti Laul semi-finals

Eesti Laul s first semi-final will feature a special concert with 12 contestants and guest artists which starts at 7.30 p.m on Thursday. The party can be seen on ETV, ETV+ channel in Russian, on Radio 2 and ERR portal.
The first semi-final will create a top-level concert for the audience where the artists will give their all in their vocal performances and stage show. The rehearsals have gone well and we are waiting for the live show to take place in the evening, Eesti Laul s main producer Tomi Rahula said.
In addition to the 12 contestants, Beebilõust and Elina Born will perform with the rapper Villemdrillem. A surprise performance can be expected from the show hosts Tõnis Niinemets and Grete Kuld. ....

Uku Suviste was the – surprising? – winner of Eesti Laul 2020. As previously announced, he did not get a free pass to the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 from the Estonian broadcaster. He does take part in Eesti Laul 2021 again and is seen as the favourite to win again, by the bookmakers.
Uku Suviste is facing some tough competition though, as the two semi finals take place this Thursday and Saturday night. Twelve songs will compete in each semi and six from each show will qualify to complete the ten song line-up in the final. ....

Estonia: Grete Kuld Revealed as Co-Host for Eesti Laul
Grete Kuld has been revealed as the co-host for Eesti Laul 2021 alongside Tõnis Niinemets.
Grete Kuld will be joining Tõnis Niinemets on the Eesti Laul stage next month as the co-host for this years Estonian selection process. Grete is a singer and an actress who started off presenting the weather for Channel 2.
