This Sunday (Sept. 11), Hippodrome 3R is hosting its Super Sunday Quebec-Bred Championship Finals with total purses on the card exceeding $500,000.
Little Diamond may be on the smaller side when compared to other harness racing horses, but the two-year-old colt has a huge heart and showed it Sunday (Aug. 28) at the Hippodrome 3R, scoring his fourth straight win in taking his division of the Future Stars Series.
Despite earlier thunderstorms that left the racetrack "sloppy" with a two-second allowance, the young trotters competing in the third and final leg of the Future Stars Series at the Hippodrome 3R plowed forward.
The second highest win payoff of the year at Hippodrome 3R took place in the seventh race $10,000 Breeders Trophy Series third leg for three-year-old pacing fillies on Sunday (Aug. 21) as Got Charlie and trainer/driver Daniel Dulude upset the field at odds of 36-1.
