Hosting the FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be a challenge for the country’s security agencies – but they are getting help. Building on the long-standing relationship between the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar (MOI), DHS under secretary for policy, Robert Silvers, met in July with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani.
