LAWRENCE TWP.  Clay's Park Resort is under new ownership. The family that has owned and operated the popular Northeast Ohio destination for the past 73 years has sold the 305-acre property to a Michigan company. Northgate Resorts in Grand Rapids bought the operation as part of a $23 million transaction. JACKSON TWP. A Thursday afternoon crash involving at least two vehicles at Whipple Avenue NW and Belden Village Street NW caused a traffic slowdown and resulted in at least one person being transported to the hospital.
