Porter named president of Colorado Press Association
Brian Porter, publisher of Prairie Mountain Media news operations in Brush, Fort Morgan and Sterling, was named president of the Colorado Press Association during the organization’s annual convention. Porter becomes the fifth president to serve the organization from Fort Morgan, following Robert W. Spencer Jr. in 1973, Robert W. Spencer in 1950 and Robert B. Spencer in 1929, all from The Fort Morgan Times, and George E. Hosmer in 1909 from the Fort Morgan Herald.
