“LANSING, April 22 The department of public instruction bill to raise the requirements for teachers has passed the house by a narrow margin after a lengthy debate. The main feature of the bill is a requirement that all persons seeking to enter the teaching profession after Jan. 1, 1925, must have a high school education and one year of special training in a normal school or college . ....
