Kansas Newspapers has sold the daily Parsons (Kansas) Sun and daily Chanute (Kansas) Tribune to Scott Wesner and Scott Wood. Wood and Wesner, high school classmates who both have extensive newspaper experience, have been steadily acquiring community newspapers in recent years.
