University Hospitals recently announced it has received a $5 million leadership gift from the Lake Health Foundation that’s designed to “ensure excellent, close-to-home care for Lake County patients and families.”
The gift is in celebration of the foundation's 40th anniversary and supports upgrades being made at UH Lake West in Willoughby and UH TriPoint in Concord Township. Lake Health joined the UH system in 2021.
OhioHealth's Shelby Hospital stopped providing maternity services after February, and UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby will stop on April 15.
