Two graduates of the USF College of Education were recently named teacher of the year in the university’s partner school districts, and several others were nominated for the district-wide awards program.
Ashley Brannon is Polk's 2022 Teacher of the Year and Tiffany Berrien of Rochelle School of the Arts is the School-Related Employee of the Year.
They have taught during a pandemic and kept schools running. Polk Public Schools recently named the finalists for teacher and employee of the year.
