Thursday, April 8, 2021 Ted Landis passed peacefully from this life to the next surrounded by family at his home in Pearcy, Ark., at the age of 76 years on Feb. 27, 2021. He was born in Choteau, Okla., March 4, 1944, to Claude Otis and Mavis June (Sanders) Landis; the fourth of seven children. Ted attended school in Bronaugh, Mo., and graduated high school from Northeast High in Kansas City, Mo. He completed Radiography Training at St. Joseph’s Mercy in Kansas City. Ted was retired, having worked in imaging at hospitals in Nevada, Mo., and Fredonia, Kan. He retired from St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark., in 2003, having spent more than 30 years employed by the Mercy Health Care System.
