THE popular Bluedot Festival has confirmed the final line-up for this summer’s award-winning carnival of music, science and cosmic culture.

They join previously announced acts Coldplay, Damon Albarn, Haim, Idles, Jorja Smith, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice and DJ Honey Dijon. Festival organiser Michael Eavis, 85, will lead a spoken-word narration of the five-hour event with the help of Harvey and Cocker, plus Kate Tempest, George The Poet and Kurupt FM. Organisers also revealed timings for the show, with Wolf Alice starting proceedings at 7pm, followed by Kiwanuka, Ezra and Haim. Arklow-born singer Roisin Murphy has spoken about her experiences growing up in the town. The musician shared some of her memories of Arklow during an interview on a podcast hosted by English comedian Adam Buxton. Roisin has been based in Ibiza with her family since Christmas due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
