A family recipe took home the top prize at the $1,500 Cinnamon Roll Contest at the Clay County Fair Monday. First place winner Saige Rinken-Smires of Royal used baking tips over the years from her mother and grandmother this competition. Though she’s entered the competition in the past, this is Rinken-Smires’ first year back in some time. (Photo by Celia Brocker)
