Manz's death has sparked an outpouring of grief and condolences on social media.  He worked at the Indiana University School of Medicine Southwest Indiana Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes and Ascension St. Vincent Evansville, according to a Facebook post from the university.  Manz served eight years in the Marines, according to the university.
