North Bay police partnership aims to help youth in mental health crisis
Police in North Bay will soon have a tool to help them better respond to children and youth with mental health issues. The police service has partnered with Nipissing University and Hands The Family Help Network on a one-year pilot project, in which police will use a mental health screening tool to refer children and youth with appropriate mental health supports.
