Dover-New Philadelphia Kiwanis Club marks 100 years
The Dover-New Philadelphia Kiwanis Club will celebrate its 100th year of service to the community in 2021 by launching a project to provide new playground equipment for Deis Hill Park in Dover. "There are four shelters up there that have playground equipment from the 1960s," said the organization's president. Steve Handley. "We are going to seek donations from the public and grants for that." Cost of the project is around $15,000. Checks can be made to the Ohio District Kiwanis Foundation at P.O.
