Hartford, other cities to use federal COVID relief funds for school programs, internet access, recreation and more

Connecticut overall stands to see about $10 billion as a result of the federal relief package, including money paid directly to residents. Though the state’s largest cities — Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford — will get the largest sums, each of Connecticut’s 169 municipalities will get some federal money, which must be spent by 2024.
