Oklahoma executes inmate for beating his friend and coworker, then 73, to death with a hammer
James Coddington, 50, was sentenced to death row after killing Albert Hale, 73, inside his home in Choctaw. He is the fifth inmate in Oklahoma to have been put to death since last year.
