Ronnie André Chandler Sr. NEWPORT NEWS — The sun rose on Ronnie André Chandler Sr., 59, on Dec. 7, 1961, and sadly set Monday, Dec. 21, 2020. He was born in Hampton to Thelma Rosser Taylor and the late Arlington Thomas Chandler Jr. “Raulo,” as he was affectionately known by his siblings, was raised in Newport News and attended Newport News Public Schools and the American School of Isfahan in Iran.
