I m not big on individual awards because everything that we got has always been generated by our team, said Schwartz. He leads a group of runners, the Cenla Running Heroes for St. Jude, who are as passionate about St. Jude as he is. For me to get the Heroes award, it was because of them and what we do, he said. St. Jude Heroes are those who raise funds for St. Jude Children s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The hospital specializes in treating children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. We are especially concerned about the effect of such misinformation on the health of African-American women, who are more likely to receive a diagnosis of breast cancer at younger ages and are more likely to die from breast cancer at all ages. ....
