Following scathing remarks from a judicial review and public outcry, both Oneida County election commissioners have resigned. Republican Rose Grimaldi, who has served as election commissioner since 2013, submitted her letter of resignation Wednesday. Following several calls for removal, Oneida County Democratic Elections Commissioner Carolann Cardone submitted a letter of resignation Tuesday.  In her letter, Cardone tendered her resignation, effective March 2, and said the decision was "not an easy one."
