Doris M. Lockley WILLIAMSBURG — God, in his magnificent power, dispatched his angels at 5:11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 14, to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital on a spiritual mission. The mission was to bring our beloved mother and grandma, Mrs. Doris M. Lockley, 79, to her heavenly home to be with Him. She was born Oct. 6, 1941, daughter of the late Carrie and Sylvester Piggott Sr., in Williamsburg. At an early age, she professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior, joining Shiloh Baptist Church.
