Chairwomen Ross Meltzer and Promise Fund co-founder and Nancy Brinker greeted arriving guests from a distance with '60s-'70s music from DJ Adam Lipson keeping things festive. Staggered scheduling for dinner pickups kept things socially distanced, congestion-free and moving quickly. The 108 guests in 54 cars — some with the family dog along for the ride — drove to the entrance of Club Colette, lowered their windows, posed for pictures and popped the trunk while a team of masked, gloved waiters loaded a boxed gourmet dinner for two with a bottle of pink champagne.
