The principal is blaming the Ministry of Education, saying officials have known about the problems for years and failed to act. 07 April 2021 Product Jackson’s Recovery has taken delivery of a new DAF CF 530 added to the fleet to work alongside a 17-year old DAF CF 85.430 wrecker. The new 530hp 8x4 has been specified with a 16-speed manual gearbox which the company the Wigton-based company believes is “ideal for recovery work”. The 80-tonne CF is based on DAF’s FAD 8x4 axle configuration with a rear-axle gearing chosen to optimise efficiency on their extensive motorway work.
