Anne Lockett spent nine years not only burdened with the knowledge of who committed a horrific, unsolved massacre at a suburban restaurant in 1993, but also living in constant fear that she and her loved ones might be next.
Even though Marcus Nellsen had been working only for a few months at Brown s Chicken in Palatine on Jan. 8, 1993, he felt at home, his sister said. "It was a family-owned franchise and I know he felt like part of the family there."
