Royal Family, and will return their honourary military appointments and royal patronages as a result, Buckingham Palace says.
The news comes just shy of one year on from the
Duke and Duchess of Sussex's final engagement as senior royals, which saw them step out with other members of the Royal Family to the
Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on March 9, 2020.
"Following conversations with The Duke, the Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of the Royal Family, it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service," Buckingham Palace's statement reads.

The younger Princess of York and her husband's little boy came into the world at London's Portland Hospital for Women at around 8:55 a.m. local time. Jack was present for his son's birth, and both mother and baby are doing well.

What is his name?
We don't know yet, and it will likely be a few days until we find out. There's no hard tradition about when a royal couple announce their baby's name, but in the past, that's usually happened a few days after the birth.
