WARMINGTON: Pandemic rules essentially unfair for small biz

Article content
Turns out not everybody has to stay at home in Premier Doug Ford’s latest provincial emergency shutdown.
There are winners and losers chosen when such stark decisions are made. For example, does it make any sense that the nail salon on Steeles Ave. in Brampton with no known COVID-19 cases is closed while right across the street the massive Amazon warehouse with 600 cases is open?

The strip mall’s parking lot that houses Royal Nails is empty while the parking lot of the Amazon Brampton fulfilment centre on Heritage Rd. is packed. Seems some things are more essential than others!

Producer Kendall's Leukemia Awareness Nails! | NewsRadio KFBK | Pat Walsh | 7pm

By Producer Kendall
Hey guys!
Producer Kendall here! Today I got some beautiful orange nails to celebrate my most recent leukemia blood test which showed I am still, "cured" and leukemia free according to my Oncologist Dr. Law! For those who may just be learning: I was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia on September 4th, 2019. I was admitted into the hospital the night I was diagnosed and immediately started on chemotherapy which was followed by a bone marrow biopsy the next morning. I was in the hospital for 1 month where I received my chemotherapy and numerous platelet and blood transfusions and once I was able to leave the hospital after a month I continued my daily 3 hour long chemotherapy arsenic infusions and ATRA chemo pills for 8 months. I am now happy to say I am cancer free thanks to the hard work of my amazing Oncologist Dr. Law and all of my nurses I love so much at the infusion center! I couldn't have won this battle with out all of the love and prayers from our listeners 3
