Goldsboro gang leader sentenced to 18 years
From staff reports A Goldsboro man, authorities identified as a gang leader, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for charges related to trafficking methamphetamine. Twenty-four-year-old Tierea Demon Atkins, also known as “Red Dot, was convicted of conspiring to distribute and possessing with an intent to distribute 50 grams or more of meth, aiding and abetting and distributing 50 grams or more of meth. Prosecutors say Atkins was a local leader of the Bloods gang in Goldsboro and was responsible for distributing more than 22 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine between May 2018 and February ...
