Covid-19: Sarawak records surge in cases to 750 on Friday (May 7)
KUCHING: Sarawak's new Covid-19 cases surged to 750 on Friday (May 7) after the number was below 500 for two days. There were also six deaths, taking the state's tally to 34,227 cases with 201 fatalities, the state disaster management committee said. In a statement, the committee said 517 or 68.9% of the new cases were detected in Miri (124), Selangau (111), Sibu (94), Sarikei (53), Bintulu (50), Pusa (45) and Kanowit (40).
