An Army team tasked with investigating a deadly Black Hawk helicopter crash near Fort Campbell in Kentucky in late March have recovered the black boxes onboard the aircraft.
The military says “black boxes” have been recovered from two U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters that crashed last week in Kentucky, killing all nine soldiers aboard. The recorders were sent to Fort Rucker in Alabama for further analysis.
Sgt. David Solinas, 23, of Oradell, was among nine soldiers killed when Army helicopters crashed in Kentucky.
