Troopers search for van after pedestrian injured in hit-and-run
Alabama State Troopers from the Decatur Post are asking for help finding a van that hit and injured a pedestrian Tuesday near Madison. The pedestrian was hit from behind, troopers say, by a white commercial van that left the scene. The driver has not been identified. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for treatment after the collision, which occurred at about 6 p.m. Tuesday on Rustic Cedar Lane near Capshaw Road, about a mile north of Madison.
