OWOSSO — The Shiawassee County Prosecutor’s Office has dismissed misdeameanor counts of assault and battery against three Michigan State Police troopers accused of assaulting a cyclist after stopping him in
Michigan State Police troopers Cody Lukas, Ryan Fitzko and Justin Simpson are cleared of criminal charges related to an arrest of an Owosso bicyclist in August 2022.
The trooper is still facing the misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.
