SENECA — After two confirmed wolf depredations, eight days apart on his property in recent weeks, Bear Valley cattle rancher Alec Oliver has been awarded the first wolf lethal take permit in the history of Grant County. Two adult female cows, at four and five years of age, had their rear udders ripped apart on the Oliver Ranch in late October and early November, according to Oliver.
