EDWARDSVILLE — Two men were charged with multiple felonies relating to a home invasion in East Alton, in which a pregnant victim suffered head injuries and had gasoline poured on her.
King S. Burrow, 27, of Wood River, and Jakiya A. Jirdon, 18, of Alton, were each charged Thursday, Feb. 18, with home invasion, a Class X felony; two counts of robbery, both Class 2 felonies; and two counts of aggravated battery, both Class 3 felonies.
Bail was set at $250,000 each.
The cases were presented by the East Alton Police Department.
