Competitions and games make for a bumper Comic Relief fundraiser at The Olive School Bolton

Pupils at The Olive School Bolton
Kind-hearted pupils at The Olive School Bolton had a ball raising money for Comic Relief earlier this month.
Pupils and staff at the primary school took part in several playful challenges on March 19, including a fun ‘no-hands eating challenge’.
They also marked the day by dressing up in colourful clothes, wearing red noses, and donating additional funds.
In total, the school raised an impressive £1,127 for the charity, which helps people in need in the UK and internationally.
Sabina Saeed, principal at The Olive School, Bolton, said that she was exceptionally proud of pupils’ efforts.

The Olive School's pupils giving back to Bolton community

Pupils at a primary school have come together to create gifts for those facing loneliness and hardship due to the coronavirus.
Children at The Olive School, on Waterloo Street, have been taking part in activities and challenges to raise funds and spread kindness as part of their annual Festive Winder Gift Programme.
Covid restrictions put a stop to many of the pupils usual activities but staff at the school still found ways for their pupils to make a difference this Christmas.
The pupils were given the task of collecting new toys, to be donated to Bolton Lions, to put a smile on the faces of children in families facing extra hardship this year.
