Students heard from law enforcement, driving instructors and healthcare professionals about how driving distracted or impaired impacts everyone on the road.
The Georgia Department of Transportation and the Lutzie 43 Foundation held a Safe Driving Summit Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Lanier Technical College to educate young drivers on the dangers of distracted, impaired and unsafe driving.

Twenty-nine teams from 20 different states, 11 peer mentors and many more youth joined together to advocate for teen safe driving this past weekend for the National Organizations for Youth Safety's (NOYS) Teen Safe Driving Summit.
