Updated 10:55 p.m. With all 53 Fort Bend County vote centers reporting results, Sugar Land City Council District 4 incumbent Carol McCutcheon has won re-election with 81% of the vote. In the Position 1 race, Suzanne Whatley leads Donna Batten Molho by six votes. Whatley has received 707 votes or 50.21% to Molho s 701 votes. Results are unofficial until they are canvassed and certified. Out of the four district seats, two of the elections are contested. Suzanne Whatley and Donna Molho will run for the District 1 seat. Incumbent Council Member Steve Porter, who was first elected to City Council in 2013, is ineligible to run again this year due to term limits. Incumbent Council Members Naushad Kermally and Stewart Jacobson did not draw challengers for the District 2 and 3 seats, respectively.
