A PENSIONER says she has been given a 'new lease of life' after being given the coronavirus vaccine. 80-year-old Jean Laws, from Braintree, was one of the first people to be given the jab at the new vaccination centre at Broomfield Hospital. The centre opened for the first time last week and is prioritising the over 80s and frontline NHS staff. It is administering the Pfizer vaccine, which was the first to be approved in the UK.
