Leave the World Behind, Sam Esmail’s first film since Mr. Robot, deals with themes similar to those of his acclaimed USA Network show.
Leave The World Behind's star power includes Ethan Hawke, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, and Mahershala Ali. That and good reviews got it on Netflix's top charts.
The Citizen Free Press said the film "fantasizes a cyber apocalypse and warns about white people if the world falls apart."
