Samuel Haskell IV, the son of a powerful Hollywood exec, was hit with three counts of murder, which could lead to a life prison sentence if convicted, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.
Hollywood murder suspect Sam Haskell IV appeared "paranoid" just weeks before his wife and in-laws were reported missing and police found a headless body.
Prosecutors offered new details in the chilling case Monday, alleging Haskell killed 37-year-old Mei Li Haskell, and her parents, 71-year-old Gaoshan Li and 64-year-old Yanxiang Wang. Up until now, investigators had said the trio were missing.
Samuel Haskell Jr., the son of Hollywood agent Samuel Haskell Sr., has been charged with the murder of his wife and in-laws, TMZ reports.
"He seemed very paranoid, and then he sat in the far back of the restaurant away from everybody," a childhood friend reportedly said. "So that was just weird, even for Sam."
