Matthew Parker, of Park Avenue, appeared at Mold Crown Court for sentencing on Monday. The 18-year-old joiner had already admitted dangerous driving at a previous hearing. Simon Mintz, prosecuting, told the court that on march 11 last year Parker had been braking suddenly and with no apparent reason on High Street in Deeside. He’d claimed afterwards that the car behind him, a Mercedes driven by Sam McGing, had been following too closely and his actions had been to get him to drop back.
