Team pulled together to save a red stag that became tangled in barbed wire
A VET and farming family played an instrumental part in rescuing a red stag that had become stuck in barbed wire and was falling into a river near Longtown. The Armstrong family who live at Broomhills Farm, near Longtown where the first to raise the alarm about the animal who was in distress.
