Jan 1, 2021 SEATTLE – Redshirt freshman Sam Tanner continues to roll back in his native New Zealand, as Tanner kicked off the new year with a new PR last night, running a 1,500-meters time of 3:36.44 at the Tauranga Twilight meet. Still just twenty years old, Tanner's time is the fastest ever run by a Husky and new #1 time in the world. Izaic Yorks still has the official in-season school record of 3:37.74 set in 2016. CARE home residents in York will join The Big Christmas Care Singalong this year. The event replaces the very popular Xmas Presence, which, for the past five years, has seen a team of volunteers led by Big Ian Donaghy give a family Christmas Day to older people living alone in the city.
