Testimony has wrapped up for the day in the murder trial for Luis Talamantes-Romero, who is charged with gunning down Jacqueline Vigil in her driveway.

"In the back of my mind, I knew she was dead. Whoever shot her wanted to make sure she didn't live," Jacqueline Vigil's husband said.

Prosecutors have accused Talamantes of shooting and killing Vigil, 55, in the early morning hours of November 19, 2019.
