Man given restraining order after assault
He was sentenced A MAN convicted of an assault has been given a restraining order and was ordered to carry out unpaid work. Samuel Farrington, of Manchester Road, Leigh, was convicted of an assault by beating. He committed the assault on a male victim on July 2, 2020. Farrington, 31, was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court. He was given a community order and must undertake rehabilitation activity for up to 25 days and do 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Farrington was given a restraining order and made to pay a £95 surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown...
