Laura Voskova of Carlsbad, vice president of AIG Retirement Services, has been named Community Spirit Pinnacle Award Winner for her commitment, action, impact and overall contribution to Fill-A-Belly, a grassroots organization that feeds homeless and hungry people in Carlsbad and Encinitas. Along with this award, AIG Life & Retirement has made a $10,000 grant to Fill-A-Belly in Voskova’s name. For the past seven years, Voskova has served as Fill-A-Belly’s executive director, ensuring that those in need are provided every Tuesday evening with a home-cooked hot meal as well as necessities such as clothing, toiletries, backpacks and sleeping bags.
