Twenty-two dams in Michigan will receive funding for upgrades through the Dam Risk Reduction Grant Program.
Among the cities on the list is Allegan, which received $1.8 million to remove and replace the stop logs in the spillway.
Funding comes through a risk reduction program created after the May 2020 flooding.
