This game lived up to its billing.
Hyped as a contender for game of the season (for good reason), Thursday evening’s ACC matchup between No. 3 Syracuse and No. 4 Boston College at the Carrier Dome was an all-out slugfest of national contenders.
But it was the Eagles, fueled by Charlotte North who else? that earned the type of win indicative of a team peaking at the right time. Jenn Medjid scored the game-winner with 1:04 left and Rachel Hall made an athletic stop on the doorstep with 43 seconds left as the Eagles held on for a 14-13 win. ....
