Sadhguru is a spiritual leader who has spent the last 24 years leading a global people’s movement to save the world’s soil. His Conscious Planet: Save Soil movement aims to turn the world’s attention to soil; encourage around 3.5 billion people, or 60 percent of the global electorate, to push for soil-healthy policies; and ensure that soil has an organic content of three to six percent.
Appealing for urgent “concrete implementable action” that will raise organic content in agricultural soils to a minimum of 3% worldwide, Sadhguru, Founder-Isha Foundation, said that the world is running out of time to prevent soil extinction.
This overarching objective of ensuring a minimum 3-6% of organic content for agricultural Soil can in turn be achieved with a pragmatic three-pronged strategy.
Starting from London on March 21st on a 100-day, lone motorcycle journey, Sadhguru has traveled through a significant section of Europe and parts of Central Asia, galvanizing public and governments' support for urgent policy formulation to halt soil degradation.
