The Yard at Newark Station opens Friday night Newark Advocate View Comments NEWARK – The grand opening of The Yard at Newark Station, a redevelopment at 325 West Main St. on the former White-Westinghouse property, will be Friday night, when the remainder of the project will be announced. The Yard, an outdoor events center, includes four lighted sand volleyball courts, a food truck with full commercial kitchen, live music, full bar, taco service, cornhole, horseshoes and a fire pit in the first phase a four-phase, mixed-use development. Todd Alexander, president of property owner A4 Ragtime Band Development, and Seth Stout, co-founder and director of operations, will announce plans for the three additional phases at the grand-opening event. ....
