Mit 805 Ja- zu 452 Nein-Stimmen sagten die Stimmberechtigten damit auch Ja zu einer Steuererhöhung auf 1,57 Einheiten. Eine erste Fassung des Budgets lehnte das Stimmvolk vergangenen Dezember ab. Damals sah der Gemeinderat eine Erhöhung auf 1,6 Einheiten vor. Es waren vor allem die bürgerlichen Parteien, die gegen das erste Budget weibelten.
